Privacy Policy

Effective: October 30, 2026

Cleanory is a phone storage cleaner for Android. It is built so that your photos, videos and files stay on your phone. This policy explains what the app accesses and why.

Summary

• We do not collect, store or share your personal data on any server. There is no Cleanory server.
• Your photos and videos are analyzed on your phone and are never uploaded.
• There is no account, no advertising and no analytics or tracking.

What the app accesses on your phone

• Photos and videos (with your permission): to find duplicates, similar and blurry photos, screenshots and large videos, to compress files you choose, and to move items you choose to the trash. Measurements used for this (for example an image fingerprint and a sharpness value) are saved only in the app's private storage on your phone so that the next scan is faster.
• Usage access (optional, granted by you in Android settings): to show each app's size and when it was last opened in the App Manager.
• Notifications (optional): for a weekly storage reminder, a reminder before a free trial ends, and progress while compressing videos.
• Uninstall requests: when you choose to uninstall an app, Android asks you to confirm each one.

None of this information leaves your phone.

Purchases

Subscriptions and the lifetime purchase are processed by Google Play. We do not receive your payment details. The app asks Google Play only whether a purchase is active, on your phone, to unlock Pro features. Google's handling of payment data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.

Network

The app connects to the internet only through Google Play services (purchases, in-app reviews and updates) and when you open a link, such as this page.

Deleting your data

All app data is stored on your phone. Uninstalling the app, or clearing its storage in Android settings, deletes it. Items you moved to the trash are kept by Android for 30 days and can be restored or deleted from "Recently deleted".

Children

The app is not directed to children under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with a new effective date.
